Laura Goren is a passionate and compassionate mindfulness practitioner. She earned her MSEd in Counseling from Fordham University in 2005 and her B.A. in Psychology from Washington University in 1999. She her earned certification to teach mindfulness in 2019. Her mindfulness philosophy is inspired by the world renowned Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program, Teach Mindfulness Online, A Course in Mindful Living, Mindful Parenting and experts such as Jon Kabat Zinn, Kristen Neff, Tara Brach, and Shamash Alidina.
Laura's approach incorporates both formal and every day mindfulness practices. She integrates mindful meditation, awareness of breath, the mind/body connection and daily mindfulness techniques. Laura offers an easy starting point for those who are interested in developing or enhancing a mindfulness and meditation practice.
Laura's mindfulness journey has been inspired by her role as a mom of 3 children (and one dog!) and wife. She lives in New Jersey and is available for both in person or virtual sessions for individuals and groups.
